Grit Plants

Ashbrook Simon-Hartley has extensive and well established experience of manufacturing and installing Grit Plants and have been successfully completing grit removal projects for over 70 years.

In a pre-treatment process, grit channel or chamber where the velocity of the incoming wastewater is adjusted to allow the settlement of sand, grit, and stones, these particles are removed due to they may injure the pumps and other mechanical equipment at a wastewater treatment facility.
